Water Consumption – When and how much?

Water Drinking
To keep hydrated and to maximise the effectiveness of you body’s functions, you should drink the following glasses of water, on top your normal 8 glasses, per day.

1 – 2 glasses of water when you wake up:
This helps to wake up your organs in the morning.
1 glass of water before your meals:
This helps aid your digestion. Do not have too much water just before you eat however, as it is not good for your stomach acids. Try drinking the glass of water bout 30mins before you eat.
1 glass of water before taking a bath and even showering:
This helps to lower your blood pressure. Keep a glass of water next to the bath as well to keep yourself well hydrated in the heat.
1 glass of water before going to bed:
Can prevent Stroke or Heart attacks.

It is said that 8 glasses of water is the recommended intake for a day. However on top of these glasses of water, you should also include the glasses mentioned above.
